September 12-13th BIFI Training Workshop in NYC!

BINA (Stroke and Brain INjury Association) will host a two-day BIFI training at their Staten Island location. The first day of the workshop will include an overview of the impact of brain injury on individuals and families, a presentation of a theoretical framework appropriate for counseling families after TBI, and an interactive discussion on working with complex situations, families and clients. The second day of this intensive seminar will prepare practitioners to implement the BIFI in their practice and will guide participants in making the most use out of the tools and resources in their BIFI manuals.

Are you interested in registering for this training? A save-the-date announcement can be found here. Sign up for our e-blast newsletter here or visit this site regularly to receive official registration information as soon as it is available. BINA will limit participation to 25 mental health professionals. Based on previous trainings, these spots will fill up quickly! Be one of the first to register to guarantee your attendance.

Is your organization interested in bringing a BIFI training to your community? Drs Jeffrey Kreutzer and Emilie Godwin are happy to work closely with you to help you plan and execute a training. Drawing from their varied training experiences, they can suggest formats and structures that will best meet the educational needs, budgetary concerns, and institutional objectives of your organization.
